Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2019
10th September 2019
Earlier this week we visited the Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2019 in Olympia, London. The place was buzzing with independent and well established businesses. Throughout the day we sampled everything from experimental spirits to hot currys – it was a great and inspiring day.
We particularly enjoyed meeting the people behind the family-orientated brands. They had bags of passion and lots of stories to tell about their journey so far and where they see themselves in the future.
There was a big emphasis on sustainability, and locally sourced products at this years show, as well as other shows that we have visited this year. This was prominent in the packaging designs; brands were using recyclable materials and less of it. Furthermore, the way that the food was produced was focussing on sustainability too.
One of the reasons we were there, was to support one of our long standing clients, Daioni, who were exhibiting their brand new iced latte range. The team were very excited to be at the show to launch this new range and promote the other products that they offer. As you can see from the images, the new range looked great on shelf and as a group. The new range received rave reviews!
Other companies that we connected with included Shepherds Purse Cheese, Masham Gin, and Willy’s Apple Cider Vinegar. It was evident that there were some brands which had spent time thinking about their brand image, story and positioning, whilst others would benefit from a company who can help with these elements.
