Our team is experienced in working with clients of all shapes and sizes. From start-ups to multinationals, cheesemakers to medical equipment manufacturers, every client we partner with receives the same high level of service and support.

Team

Sanders Design is a small but perfectly formed team. Our talented designers are capable of creating everything from graphics and packaging to commercially successful products, while our experienced management team oversees projects and ensures every client need is taken care of.

Julian Sanders

Company Director & Product Designer

With over 30 years experience in the design industry, Julian has accrued a substantial portfolio of work amongst which is some award winning work for major blue chip clients both in the UK and overseas. He’s worked with manufacturers such as Kenwood, Cyrus Audio, Wedgwood and Vista Alegre and retailers such as Boots, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and John Lewis. Julian is passionate about design education and remains actively involved. He has a Masters Degree in Industrial Design, is a member of the CSD and a Fellow of the RSA.

Lianne Samuel

Studio Director

As studio director, Lianne is the heart and soul of the company as well as the longest serving member of the team here at Sanders. Lianne ensures that the studio runs smoothly and efficiently, with a vast experience in business, project and financial management. Lianne supports the team by upholding our creative vision and reputation as well being pivotal in creating long standing relationships with our clients.

Jameila Thomas

Brand Director

As brand director, Jameila has developed and transformed brands both in the UK and internationally. She uses a systematic process, developed and refined over time, which produces a holistic and seamless experience for all involved. Jameila encourages clients to become more innovative through creative thinking, building brand strategies that supports businesses on their journeys of growth. Jameila oversees product, brand and digital.

Luke Richards

Senior Designer

Luke began his creative career as an industrial designer before retraining in graphic design. Since then, he has worked extensively on branding and packaging projects with a diverse range of clients, including many blue chip companies both in the UK and overseas. Luke now heads up the branding team here at Sanders and has been responsible for coordinating branding and packaging work in countries as diverse as China, India, mainland Europe and USA. He’s a bit of a ‘foodie’ too and loves nothing more than working on food related projects.

Rose Bell

Business Development

Rose’s client centred approach and passion for creating the best possible customer experience has led her to specialise in Business Development and Account Management within the creative industry. Rose brings over 30 years’ experience (including graphic design, commercial print, digital, and packaging) to the sanders team, supporting clients on their business growth. Rose’s in-depth knowledge of the design and development process from client consultation through to final project delivery has enabled her to build concrete client relationships, which have resulted in numerous profitable business relationships.

Joel Williams

Product Design Consultant

Sam Jones

Designer

Sam has been immersed in creativity from a young age and his design skills aren’t his only creative talents, Sam is also an experienced drummer and DJ. This has influenced his design direction, using music as a form of inspiration for many of his projects. Sam is very methodical and pays attention to the finer details throughout his work. As a Digital Media graduate, Sam is passionate about the digital side of design, ensuring that brands have the same impact in the digital landscape as they do in the analogue.
