A high-quality history
No. 1 Flannel Street, Abergavenny has been purveying local produce since the early 18th century when the street was known as Butchers Row and housed a number of chop houses and abattoirs.
In the following century or so, the shop has evolved and expanded, but with quality local meat always at its core and the tradition of strong bonds with selected suppliers remaining constant.
Leading the way in Butchery
No. 1 Flannel Street now employs 21 members of staff, many of whom are trained in-house to the very highest standards of butchery and is now just one of a chain of retail outlets and delicatessens throughout Mid and South Wales, trading under the name Neil Powell.
As purveyors of the highest quality locally produced meats, as well as home made award winning pies and ready meals, the company commissioned us to help reposition the brand to better reflect the premium nature of its offering.
Our work with Neil Powell
Passion, Provenance and Pride are the three core tenets that motivate the team at Neil Powell, and these have provided the foundations on which we’ve sought to build the new brand.
Our work with the company has involved all aspects relating to how the brand is communicated to the public, from the brand mark itself, through tone of voice, packaging, photography, shop design, and uniform.
The new look and feel to the business is one that seems to have gone down extremely well with both customers and staff alike…..
