“Hey, I’m James a postgraduate who has just come to an end of my studies within Cardiff School of Art and Design (CSAD). I’m excited to jump into my placement at Sanders design; embracing the challenges that I’m presented with and hopefully allowing me to generate some unique and innovative design solutions.
So about me?
Born and raised in a small south-west Wales town, before graduating with a BA (Hons) in Product Design. Furthermore going onto study an MSc Product Design degree at CSAD.
I’ve been fortunate to have been given the opportunity to travel to many different cultures around the world as part of my studies, allowing me to gain a broader understanding of cultural experiences, which ultimately, link back to my design work.
I’ve also been given the opportunity to gain hands on experience whilst working either freelance or within multidisciplinary teams on a host of collaborative projects with a vast range of companies. This has also been in parallel with the ability to create and tailor new innovative design solutions for exceptional clients.
When you don’t see me working on design projects; you might find me exploring various new areas or participating in past time hobbies like kayaking, hiking, allowing for a constant inspiration flow, unrestricted. You may also find me watching George Clarke’s Old House New Home.”
James will be summarising his experience here at Sanders near the end of his placement – keep an eye out for his next blog post.
