T&G Woodware

Product Design

TG Woodware, a UK-based brand known for its handcrafted wooden kitchenware and home accessories, has long been celebrated for its expert craftsmanship. However, the company recognised that its product designs needed to evolve to appeal to a more design-conscious audience while staying true to its heritage of quality and artistry. Established in 1975, T&G now lead the market with an ever-expanding portfolio of premium styled mills. The first company to offer a “Lifetime mechanism Guarantee” and the first to offer the new Crushgrind ceramic mechanisms. They approached us to help refresh their product line, aiming to modernise their offerings without losing the essence of what made them special.

Our design process focused on reimagining key products in TG Woodware’s range, blending modern aesthetics with the brand’s traditional values. We worked closely with them to refine product shapes, introducing sleek, minimalist lines that maintain functionality while giving the items a fresh, contemporary feel. The goal was to elevate the visual appeal of each piece while ensuring that they remained as practical and durable as ever. We also explored new materials and crafting techniques to enhance both the look and longevity of the products.

The result was a stunning new product line that successfully resonated with a broader, design-savvy customer base. The updated products not only appealed to modern sensibilities but also reinforced TG Woodware’s reputation for high-quality, handcrafted goods. By striking a balance between innovation and tradition, the redesign positioned the brand as a leader in the market for stylish, functional homeware.

T&G were thrilled with the outcome. They noted, “The design transformation has breathed new life into our products. We’re excited about how the new range resonates with customers and how it strengthens our brand.”
