Scrumshus is already a Great Taste ‘Gold’ winner and is stocked in premium stores such as Fortnum & Mason and served in hotels like the Dorchester. The company needed a brand mark and packaging that reflected the quality of the product (premium fruits, nuts and honey, without additives).

Environmentally friendly packaging was also important as was an identity that was both contemporary yet conveyed a traditional british character.

To introduce a sense of heritage and emphasise the products natural ingredients, we developed the wheat sheaf motif and two-tone sash. The motif is composed of small nuts, oats, etc. found in granola. The bi-coloured sash was designed to suggest morning sunlight casting a shadow.

We made use of a hand-illustrated bumblebee to reference the provenance of one of the Granola’s key ingredients. The classic watch strap label showcases the jumbo fruits and nuts, while the matte, slightly textured substrate provides a contemporary edge.
