Our work for Intercall at the Care & Dementia Show
We have just returned from a very inspirational and successful trip to the Care & Dementia Show at the NEC in Birmingham. The show is designed to provide products and services to organisations responsible for the care of older people. We attended the exhibition to support our client Intercall, and ensure the role out of their brand and product ran smoothly.
The stand itself stood out against Intercall’s competitors in a condensed space employing soothing lighting, a warm colour palette and curved edges, which follows the visual language outlined at the initial stages of the brand and product design. The space was designed to attract and make it easy for potential customers to come up and talk, and for Intercall to be able to give product demos and has generated a lot of enquiries on the back of it. In fact, we struggled to get 10 minutes with the guys as there was a constant flow of potential customers on the stand engaging with the products and literature on display.
We have worked with Intercall for the last few years developing the brand and product range for their nurse call system within the care sector. We began this process by understanding their audience, competitors, suppliers, and buyers in order to do this we conducted a brand audit, discovering and understanding people’s perception of their product and brand. It was then apparent that there was a misalignment between their perception of themselves and their customers and it was our job to then realign that impression. We carried out a brand workshop to bring together a set of values, understand their tone voice, personality and ultimately discover their brand promise and to communicate this through a set of brand positioning statements. This formed the basis of all visual language we have used going forward.
We find as a consultancy that our unique offering of combining both disciplines of product design and branding for our clients generates the strongest results.
